Meet our team
John Coulter, Senior Health and Safety Manager
I manage safety across all areas of operation and oversee the management of our IT and communication systems. Before DPP, I was as a health and safety auditor on local authority projects and operations manager at a manufacturing and distribution organisation. DPP does what it promises – delivers a dependable and quality service, at the place it’s needed, when it’s needed.
Matt Field, Ventilation & Air Conditioning Controller
I joined DPP in September 2016 to work on the helpdesk. From there I progressed into the ventilation and air conditioning team, where I supported the engineers, organised attendances for emergency breakdowns and quoted works. Today I support the ventilation project manager and senior surveyor and absorb as much experience as I can to progress my career at DPP. No one day is the same. There are new challenges all the time which makes every day enjoyable.
Nikki Andrews, Electrical Projects Supervisor
My first role at DPP, in 2009, was in the mechanical department. From there I progressed to PPM, working across all departments, and then I focused on electrical reactive. Today I’m a supervisor on electrical projects. I really enjoy my work. I’ve built up a rapport with both clients and engineers, and everyone in the electrical team is on the same wavelength. Through the banter and laughter, the work gets done!
Ben Wilson, Helpdesk Supervisor
When I joined DPP in 2015, I started out in an administration role in the operations department. Since then, I’ve climbed the ranks and now I supervise the helpdesk, run the allocation of engineers at the weekend, and make sure our clients’ needs are met day and night. That includes making sure the quality of work our clients have come to expect of us is sustained. The role can be quite demanding. Good attention to detail and efficiency are definite requirements. But every day I strive to raise the bar, meet targets and make sure we are the very best we can be for customers, wherever and whenever they need us.
Marie Hubbard, Helpdesk and Administration Manager
I joined DPP in 2000 and now I jointly manage the smooth running of our helpdesk and administration department, ensuring all our targets are met and addressing customer queries. Attention to detail is an important part of the role, as is consistency in performance, working to deadlines, being approachable and problem solving. What I like most about this business is the progression it enables. I started as a receptionist, progressed to senior manager then supervisor and am now a manager. We’ve successfully helped apprentices through their qualifications and subsequently employed them. I’ve worked with my team now for a number of years and believer we’re more than just colleagues, we’re close friends too.
Wayne Booker, Electrical Testing Engineer
I joined DPP in 2010 as an electrical test engineer and worked across all the clients the company look after. My duties have also included electrical remedial work and large projects. DPP is very client driven but also very supportive of its engineers, I have witnessed the company grow and enjoyed being a part of the journey. Luke O'Brien, Electrical Project Engineer
I have been an electrical engineer at DPP for almost 4 years. During that time, I have worked on a wide variety of commercial jobs, including changing store lighting to installing complete fire alarm systems. DPP provides a welcoming work atmosphere along with all the necessary training courses to create a great place to work
Sean McArdle, Electrical Maintenance Engineer
I’ve been an electrician at DPP for eight years and worked for many different clients, carrying out a wide range of electrical works. Everything from general repairs and installations, to fault finding, heating controls and gas interlock systems. To succeed here you obviously need the right technical qualifications but also good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
George Lee, Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
I joined DPP as an apprentice in 1993 and now I’m a fully qualified domestic, commercial and commercial catering engineer, both natural gas and liquid petroleum gas. I really enjoy the variety of work I do here, from gas servicing to reactive calls. Every day is different. The atmosphere is very friendly and the office team very supportive. I never stop learning.
Nick Corn, Air Conditioning Engineer
I have worked in the refrigeration and air conditioning business my whole career, and during my nine years at DPP I’ve worked on many different sites and been involved in a wide variety of jobs. I’ve enjoyed my time here, working alongside a great team both inside and outside of the office.

Electrical Reactive Maintenance Engineer
We are looking for qualified electricians for permanent positions with an immediate start. Positions are open in multiple locations around London, the South of England and Wales. The ideal candidate has completed a full apprenticeship to NVQ level 3, 17th edition, and has a minimum of two years’ experience. A current, full UK driving licence is also a requirement for this role. Clients will be in the hospitality sector. You will be involved in reactive maintenance, minor repairs and installations, and fault diagnostics. This is a PAYE position.
Gas Maintenance/Testing Engineer
We are looking for gas engineers and plumbers to work across multiple sites for clients in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will have experience of servicing, fault finding installation and repair, in addition to a comprehensive plumbing background. A full S/NVQ Level 2 in plumbing or equivalent is essential. We also request a minimum of three years’ experience. You will need to hold a minimum ACS accreditation in CCN1, CEN1, CPA1 and CKR1 (commercial changeover would be advantageous) and a current, full UK driving licence.
Accreditations are the essential passport in our industry to carry out compliance and maintenance work for customers. But at DPP they mean more than a stamp of approval, they’re something we work hard at in order to be the best facilities maintenance business serving bars, restaurants and hotels. All our engineers are fully trained in the procedures and processes attached to each accreditation, so they can service, repair and install new equipment correctly and safely.
